SUBBUTEO WORLD CUP / FOOTBALL’S REALLY COMING HOME

Royal Tunbridge Wells in Kent is the birthplace of the classic British table football game Subbuteo. In 2024, the historic town hosted the game’s World Cup for the first time. Players from around the world would descend on tiny felt pitches to compete, and Tunbridge Wells Council wanted a social film to build excitement for the event. With no production budget, I wrote, shot, directed, edited, and handled all post-production and effects myself, creating a series of social posts to capture the spirit of the tournament.
