Pepsi Max wanted to refresh their brand and reach their millennial audience who were now spending more time online than watching traditional broadcast TV.

We created one of the first branded content YouTube channels, producing a wide range of original content under the ‘Unbelievable’ campaign platform.

The channel was a huge success, drawing millions of views and shares.

Earned media was gained around the world with news channels from as far as Australia and the US running stories on the stunts.

‘Bus Shelter’ was the most awarded piece of content across the industry that year.

 

PEPSI MAX / BUS SHELTER

As part of the Pepsi Max ‘Unbelievable’ campaign I brought an unbelievable experience to an everyday location. An augmented bus shelter amazed commuters with events like an alien invasion, a tiger on the loose and even a giant tentacle popping out of the pavment and grabbing pedestrains. Thge publics reactions were captured and shared on the Pepsi Max ‘Unbelievable’ YouTube channel.

The video gained 5.6m views in the first five days with over a 300% subscription increase to the Pepsi Max Youtube channel. It was number one in the viral charts, was featured on new channels around the world and was the most awarded peice of work that year.
